Tips to get Fallout 76 Wood & Power Armor

Fallout 76 is something about gathering resource, for that you will need them to craft items. Wood and armors are two important resources in this gameplay, in the following, you will be taught how to find wood and the locations of Power Armor.

How to find wood in Fallout 76?

Wood can be used for crafting and cooking, especially you need them to make valuable items like potable drinking water. Luckily, it is easy to find wood.

To get wood in Fallout 76, all you have to do is search various logs that you come across in the countryside. Go up to a fallen tree or log, then press Gather to harvest wood scraps from it. Unfortunately, you can’t go up to regular standing trees to harvest wood; you can only gather wood from trees that have already fallen. There is also a chance that you’ll find wood during your scavenging efforts. Crafting materials can be found in drawers, cabinets, shelves, and even toilets, so make sure to scour each location thoroughly when looking for wood scraps, metal scraps, and other materials in Fallout 76.

How to find Power Armor in Fallout 76?

Morgantown Warehouse

Early on in the game you’ll have a quest called Final Departure that tasks you with traveling to the Morgantown Airport. There’s an abandoned building across the river slightly to the southwest of the map icon for 95B where you can find an abandoned set of Power Armor. You’ll just need to take out any enemies guarding it first.

Northern Cave

The next location isn’t actually a proper, named spot on the map at all. Instead, if you just go straight up north of Vault 76, you can find some Raider Power Armor.

WV Lumber Co.

In the far northwestern corner of the map there’s a Lumber Mill surrounded by tons of Super Mutants. Near the train tracks is a large storage building in which you can find a set of Power Armor on one of the yellow rigs.

Point Pleasant

Starting from Vault 76 once again, head west until you get near the river. You should see Point Pleasant nearby, which is the home of the legendary Mothman Museum. On the roof of the pharmacy and through a series of holes in walls and ceilings, there is some Power Armor potentially waiting for you.

Moundsville Penitentiary

If you made it to this point of the list, hopefully you’re not early level anymore. The Moundsville Penitentiary is crawling with powerful Super Mutants, so be careful. When you’re ready, fight your way through the Penitentiary across to a yellow building where you can find the Power Armor inside.
