MapleStory 2: Summer Burning Events

MapleStory 2 has rolled out its eagerly anticipated Awakening Expansion Update On May 30th via the Nexon Launcher and Steam. The massive content update gives players the new melee-focused Striker class, increases the level cap, adds a second job rank for all classes, introduces new Chaos Raids and Hard Dungeons and unlocks the Eye of Lapenta, including Ascendant tier weapons, the strongest gear in the game!

All players will receive a free character slot to begin using Striker! In addition, MapleStory 2 is increasing the level cap from 60 to 70 for players to further hone their skills. All players will also have the ability to unlock Rank 2 job skills that expand the robust experiences of all classes. The expansive content update will thrust players into new Hard Dungeons and Chaos Raids, both in Normal and Hard variants. The update features six new Hard Dungeons that give players the chance to earn the Frontier, Tidemaster, and Demonwing epic gear sets. With three new Chaos Raids, players can challenge Pink Bean for the first time in MapleStory 2 and earn legendary gear sets such as Enigma, Behemoth, and Dark Vanguard. There's a lot to earn in this update!

MapleStory 2 Summer Burning Events

Event Duration: End of Maintenance, Thursday, May 30th - Start of Maintenance, Thursday, June 27th

Event Details:

• Log into MapleStory 2 before June 27th to claim and activate your Striker Daily Wonders!
  • Note: The first character to log into MapleStory 2 in the day will automatically be awarded that day's Daily Wonder
  • Activating the Daily Wonder on one character on your account activates it for all characters in that Region
  • Character must be at least Lv. 5 on login to claim the Daily Wonders, which new characters will quickly pass during the tutorial
  • Those that create their first character during this event will need to log back into their character again in order to claim it
• Log in each day to unlock a new prize from the Daily Wonders screen:
  • Day 1: 5x Free Rotors Walkie-talkies
  • Day 2: 10x Elixirs
  • Day 3: Canola Bonito Fast Ground Mount
  • Day 4: 3x Auto-Fishing Vouchers (1 Hour)
  • Day 5: 1,000,000-Meso Pouch
  • Day 6: 2x Fishing Experience Boosters +100% (30 Min)
    • Note: This item is bound to the character that claims it, and cannot be moved to other characters, even on the same account
  • Day 7: 5x Revive Vouchers
  • Day 8: Flying Lotus Flying Mount
    • Ascent Rate: 2 m/s
    • Max Height: 26 meters
    • Flying Speed: 2.5 m/s
  • Day 9: Auto-Gathering Badge (7 Day)
  • Day 10: 5x Lapis Master Snares
  • Day 11: Mushroom Park Chat Bubble
    • Note: This item is bound to the character that claims it, and cannot be moved to other characters, even on the same account
  • Day 12: 2x Auto-Performance Vouchers (1 Hour)
  • Day 13: 2x Performance Experience Boosters +100% (30 Min)

  • Day 14: 500x Crystal Fragments
    • Note: This item is bound to the character that claims it, and cannot be moved to other characters, even on the same account
  • Day 15: 1,000,000-Meso Pouch
  • Day 16: Iron Fist Knuckles Outfit (Striker Only)
  • Day 17: 5x Polished Fusion Stones, which increases your pet's experience by 15,000
  • Day 18: 50x Chaos Onyx Crystals
  • Day 19: 3x Tier 3 Gemstone Boxes, each containing a random Tier 3 gemstone
  • Day 20: 3x Heavy Gem Dust Boxes, each containing 300 dust of a color of your choice
  • Day 21: Hysteria Outfit Package, containing the Hysteria Helm, Armor, Glove and Boot Outfits for the opening character's gender
• Missing a day does not skip items or reset progress
• Prizes can be previewed in the Daily Wonders screen
• Striker Daily Wonders voucher must be activated before 3:30 PM UTC on June 27th, 2019
• Must claim all prizes before 3:30 PM UTC on August 29th, 2019
• Days begin and end at 12:00 AM UTC
• Unless otherwise noted, rewards cannot be sold or traded, but can be transferred to other characters on the same account via the in-game bank

In addition, players who login before June 26, will receive a Striker Daily Wonder on the first character they log in with. Players who log-in everyday will receive even more items including a Canola Bonito ground mount, a Floating Lotus air mount, a specially made Iron Fist Knuckles weapon skin for a Striker class, and a full Hysteria Outfit skin.

Through June 26, Maplers with designated new characters will also be able to earn 3 levels every time they level up through the Summer Burning Event and earn new gear at level 60 to prepare for the challenges ahead.
