Apex Legends' Legendary Hunt Event Goes Live With 1.2 Patch Updates

Players of Apex Legends are excited about the upcoming version, as it will add Legendary Hunting Events and other great things to the game. However, the developers "encountered a minor problem" that caused the patch to be delayed to a later time. It's disappointing for fans looking forward to the game, but there's nothing wrong with making sure everything is right, even if it takes longer. Luckily, Respawn Entertainment is the most important, because updates are released in real time and are available on all platforms.

The Legendary Hunt Event is live now in the battle royale shooter. This brings a new way to get into matches as well as fresh rewards and bonus XP.

The Legendary Hunt Event is full of all kinds of good things for players. For starters, the Apex Elite Queue will run from June 4th until July 2nd. All players must finish in the top five of any match. Apex players who want to complete all of the challenges will need to explore the new Elite Queue, which is only enabled only for players who placed top five in their past match. Click here to buy Apex Legends Coins). This mode is completely optional, but it also has some additional features, including character specific badges and the ability to track Elite wins.

Once in the Legendary Hunt, you have a chance to earn some of the themed loot. This includes a new badge that show you are a participant in the most dangerous game. You can also get some rare and legendary weapon skins. If you own the Battle Pass, you'll have a chance to even unlock an additional weapon skin as well as a legendary skin for Wraith.

In addition to all of this, Battle Pass Bonus XP will be up for grabs, a Double XP weekend is inbound, and there will be Legendary Hunt skins available in the store. Here's a rundown of everything that will go down throughout the new Apex Legends Event:

Apex Elite Queue
June 4 – July 2

Make it to the Top 5 in any match, and earn your way into a select queue full of Top 5 winners. Then prove you're the best of the best by taking them all down!

Legendary Hunt Challenge Rewards

June 4 – June 18

Complete special in-game challenges to score free Legendary Hunt loot! Don't lose sight of your prey – these rewards are event exclusive, and once it's over, they're gone for good.

Battle Pass Bonus XP

June 4 – June 18

Earn an entire Battle Pass level when you finish in the Top 5 in any match (once per day).

 

Double XP Weekend

Friday June 7 at 10:00 a.m. PT – Monday June 10 at 10:00 a.m. PT
Score double level XP and Battle Pass XP all weekend long! Does not include the Battle Pass level earned from finishing in the Top 5 each day.

 

Legendary Hunt Store Skins

June 4 – June 18

New Legendary Hunt items will rotate into the shop every three to four days – these items are event limited, so they may be back, but no one can say when.
