Runescape Land Out of Time: What You Need to Know

Developer Jagex has released Runescape's massive new free update, "Land Out of Time," today. but Jagex aim to roll out the content over a few weeks rather than all at once, so expect a few weekly updates after the landmass initially opens up. It features the new prehistoric island, Anachronia. It's home to some ruddy huge dinosaurs. "Embark on a voyage of discovery to a long-forgotten land," says the official description. "Hunt down hulking beasts, traverse a treacherous landscape, slay dangerous new creatures and unearth ancient secrets previously lost to time."

Today's launch trailer provides a look at the new area, including a host of ruins to explore and prehistoric creatures to battle. You'll travel there in pursuit of dragonkin scientist Kerapac who has escaped to the island with a powerful elder artefact. Only RuneScape members can access the update and you must have your mining, smithing, and divination skills at level 50 or higher.

Jagex has overhauled the hunting system, and the update also introduces a new training method that centers on defeating nine angry dinosaurs. Due to their size, you can't take on the behemoths in an outright confrontation. Instead, you must think outside the box, using traps and other resources to tame the beasts. 

The island's new hunter method, the large game hunter, provides action to members including hunter skills. Jagex revolutionized the hunting system; The update also introduces a new training method that will focus on defeating nine angry dinosaurs. Given their size, you can't go head-to-head with these behemoths. To kill the island's dinosaurs, you have to engage in a new big game, which is to set traps to kill these giants. There are 9 new villains in Time Out of Time, which will require hunters between levels 75 and 96. Anyone who wants to kill a dinosaur must first cultivate the necessary resources, trap the creature, and then lay it down forever. Denuded dinosaurs will produce materials that can be used to make new thermal armor. However, these great lizards don't just provide their skin. Players will also plunder new items that can be combined into powerful new weapons, namely hammers and bows.

Land Out of Time also offers a wide range of Slayer-specific content, New Slayer master, tasks, and enemies, a base camp to build and upgrade during your time on Anachronia, and ultimately craft either the new Hexhunter maul or set of dino hide ranged armour. Anachronia also has a brand new Agility course and New Agility course offers a lot to Runescape members!

United Kingdom: Codices is the producer of the leading game show extension on Twitch, teaming up with legendary MMORPG RuneScape creator Jagex to broadcast live interactive quiz shows on the official RuneScape Twitch channel www.twitch.tv/ RuneScape and www.twitch.tv/ Jagex on July 8, 2019. The first shows will air in late July 2019, when thousands of fans will take their first run-away quiz.
