The DC Universe Online Justice League Dark: Giant Shadow Golem, rewards, and mission launch Today, July 25, 2019, and are permanent additions to the game. The centerpiece of this patch is the debut of a brand-new weekly world boss that offers new feats and rewards to beat.

New Open-World Boss

Chaos Gotham is about to get a little more chaotic. Descending from the rift in the sky is the Giant Shadow Golem, a new menace Gotham City needs you to eliminate. Defeat him if you can for a chance to earn your very own Orbital Strike trinket. Starting Today (July 25, 2019), answer the call to earn new feats and rewards!

Open-World Boss: Giant Shadow Golem (Weekly)

Enter Chaos Gotham and accept the Dispelling Darkness mission. Dispel the Giant Shadow Golem reinforcing the efforts of Mordru in Chaos Gotham before it can turn the tide!

This new Mission also brings new Feats. These are Counter Feats needing to beat the Shadow Golem X amount of times.
The Feats are:

Defend Against the Darkness - 10 Point Feat: Dispel the Giant Shadow Golem reinforcing the efforts of Mordru 1 time.
Light It Up - 25 Point Feat: Dispel the Giant Shadow Golem reinforcing the efforts of Mordru 10 times.
Stave Off the Darkness - 25 Point Feat: Dispel the Giant Shadow Golem reinforcing the efforts of Mordru 25 times.
Turn On The Light (This Feat grants the title "…of the Shadows") - 50 Point Feat: Dispel the Giant Shadow Golem reinforcing the efforts of Mordru 50 times.

New Rewards added to the Vendor

Three new rewards arrive with the Giant Shadow Golem. The rewards for beating the shadow golem include a void uplink device, a henchman device to turn them into shadowy variants, and a shadow haunted flames accessory. Plus, keep an eye out when defeating the Giant Shadow Golem, because it has a chance to drop the new Void Uplink Device (Orbital Strike).
