DC Universe Online's Episode 35: Metal Part 1 Now Available on PC, Xbox, Switch, and PS4

Daybreak Games launched the update for DC Universe Online. Episode 35 is called Metal Part I and is now available on DCUO for PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Episode 36: Metal Part II will release in December 2019. The 2 part update is based on DC's Dark Nights: Metal comic series and features a twisted version of Batman.

About Episode 35: Metal Part I:

Metal Part I will be a large-scale episode, with level-agnostic event versions of content available to all players Level 15 and up for a limited time.
The episode will feature new and returning Super Heroes and Super-Villains, including The Red Death, The Merciless, and The Batman Who Laughs.
The storyline will include single-player and multiplayer adventures set in iconic but twisted locales as our universe descends.
The episode features new player rewards, including gear suits inspired by Donna Troy and The Merciless, base items, and more!

Part 2 is set to launch in December, 2019 and continues the story.

DC Universe Online is a free to play action MMORPG based on the DC superhero universe.

Since this is the latest piece of episodic content that means it is available for free to all players regardless of whether you're playing free-to-play or with a subscription. The previous episode, Justice League Dark, and all 33 other past episodes, now require you to be a paying player to access them.
