No matter how many people cry, no matter how many people laugh, only one person will make it to the final. This is Bugha, a 16-year-old North America East player finished with 59 points, who won this year's Fortnite World Cup Solo Finals and takes home a prize of $3 million.

The 2019 Fortnite competition is a 10-week event, with singles qualifying in odd weeks and pairs qualifying in double weeks. The final round will be held from July 27 to 28 in the U.S. Bugha, 16, led the pack with 59 points.
Once the competition got underway, Bugha's aggressive first game win put him top in the standings. He continued to play strong, going into game 6 with a 15 point lead and 18 eliminations. Skite from Europe took game 2. NA East player Dubs won game 3 in a tense showdown with NA West player Riversan. Psalm won game 4, ending an impressive streak by European player Mongraal. Kreo won game 5. Game 6 was won by European player Crue.

"Words can't even explain it right now, I'm just so happy," Bugha said in a post-match interview. "Everything I've done, the grind, it's all paid off."

Second place finalist was Harrison "Psalm" Chang of Counter Logic Gaming with 33 points, who just edged EpikWhale's 32 points and won a prize of $1,800,000. NA West player EpikWhale scored 32 points and took home $1,200,000. Nate "Kreo" Kou and Bryan Eric "KING" Carvalho Nunes were tied for fourth with 30 points. The 2019 Fortnite World Cup awarded a $30 million prize pool spread over three tournaments, the Pro-Am, yesterday's Duos, and today's Solos. The pool was, for a time, the largest offered until it was overtaken just last weekend by the crowdfunded pool for Dota 2's The International 2019.
