The First-ever Fortnite World Cup Finals will unfold IRL On Friday, July 26 and July 28

The biggest video game competition ever is only a few weeks away. Top Fortnite players from around the world will soon gather in New York for the first Fornite World Cup Finals. The first-ever Fortnite World Cup Finals will unfold IRL at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows Corona Park from Friday, July 26 and July 28. The tournament will take place over three days and is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of spectators. After a 40-million-gamer, multi-month qualifying challenge, the top 100 players and the top 50 pairs will also compete for a whopping $30 million. Each contestant gets at least $50,000, and the solo champion walks away with $3 million.

Organized by Epic Games, the publisher of Fortnite, and managed by Endeavor, the entertainment company, the main tennis court and its surrounding courts will be transformed into an environment similar to what viewers experience when they play the popular online game. Here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite World Cup finals, including the tournament schedule, where you can watch the event, and who is expected to win.
