Fortnite The End Event Wipes the Slate Clean for the Start of Fortnite Season 11's Chapter 2

After a week's delay, Fortnite season 10 ended Sunday with The End event that would have introduced season 11. The Fortnite end event, like other Fortnite events in the past, heralds a major change in the game map. Fortnite's end-of-season 10 event started off with the launch of the rocket on top of Dusty Depot. When the explosion occurred, the black hole began to swallow everything. The islands, the battle buses, even the players disappeared in a flash. The end of Fortnite season 10 has arrived. However, in this case, The game appears to be completely offline, with no official word on when it might be back. Those left in the game were reportedly able to play a mini-game, but the iconic Fortnite map was gone.

What happened?
Just like in season four, the event began with a rocket launching and exploding to create a crack. Like the previous event, the rocket went from one gap to another. This time, however, several more rockets were launched. Then the spacecraft flew into many cracks again and again until they were all in the last one.

After a moment of calm, the rocket appeared above the meteor, over the dusty warehouse. One by one they entered another rift below the meteor. Dozens more rockets than had been seen before appeared to hit only the final rift, causing it to expand. In season 10, the meteor, frozen on a dusty planet, begins to move and then disappears into what is now the rift valley.

In an instant, the shooting star and the rocket disappeared.

Then, the music of the event began to rise and a huge gap appeared over the island. Then the players were thrown into the air, floating uncontrollably. Finally, from the rift, six rockets and meteors reappeared. The rocket changed direction, flying in a different direction, and the meteor hit the singularity in lake Loot. The dome around the area tried to protect the island, but it failed because the meteor eventually hit the island, as it did at the end of season 4, but with a bigger impact.

When the explosion happened, it started to engulf everything. The islands, the battle buses, even the players disappeared in a flash.

All that was left was a black hole.

The official Fortnite Twitter account and website only show the black hole. The game's Instagram account shows the same.

One of the key aspects of the second chapter is reported to be a completely new map, and it seems that the events have laid the groundwork for revealing this map.

While we can say for sure that the game won't go away forever (because it's so popular), we'll have to wait until Epic tells us when the servers will be back online. Now, fans will have to wait to see what happens to Fortnite in chapter 2. Rumor has it that in addition to a brand new map, there will be new machinery, like boats. The in-game event is currently being watched by millions across platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter.
