Where is Fortnite's birthday cake? When the celebration begins, Fortnite birthday cakes are on the map. It's the second annual birthday event in Epic's wildly popular Battle Royale game, so if you want to win some luxurious new cosmetics and Fortnite skin for yourself, you need to dance in front of different birthday cakes.

Whether you're eating cake or just dancing in front of one, you'll need to be careful. While some players will let you get a quick dance in near the cake before they start fighting you, others may see this challenge as an opportunity to rack up some easy kills.

The Fortnite Birthday event is now live on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android. Running until the end of the month, the event gives players the chance to complete challenges and unlock fresh rewards. "Time flies when you're having fun, two years in fact," reads an Epic blog post. "The Fortnite Birthday Celebration kicks off this week starting Thursday, July 25 and runs until Wednesday, July 31."

You will be able to consume slices of Birthday Cakes by approaching them, once you are close enough, you will be prompted to consume them!

Gain 50 of either (or some combination of both) and you'll be rewarded with a special birthday emoticon. Solving all the challenges gets you a swanky new birthday cake pickaxe. Each slice of cake you eat will grant either 5 health or 5 shield depending on which you're short on.
