DC Universe Online allows players to channel their inner hero or villain by creating a unique, customizable character with a variety of superpowers. Players will experience thrilling, fast-paced battles alongside and against DC characters including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Joker, and more. Fans explore immersive, story-driven adventures in Gotham City, Metropolis, Titans Island, Themyscira, Atlantis and many other famous DC locations.

Superman, the Joker, Wonder Woman, and more than 300 comic book characters are coming to Nintendo Switch in DC Universe Online this summer, publisher Daybreak Games announced.

DC Universe Online (DCUO) has been giving players the chance to explore the DC Universe in a way other games have never managed. Across multiple systems and platforms, the game has allowed players to create a completely customizable super-heroic (or villainous) avatar, and save the DC Universe from the forces of Brainiac. Currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, DCUO will allow players to adventure through exhilarating stories, travel to iconic DC locations, and meet over 300 DC characters with handheld mode and TV mode options on Nintendo Switch.

The Switch will make the fourth current platform for the eight-year-old superhero adventure, joining PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. DC Universe Online launched in 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Originally launched in 2011 on PC and the PlayStation 3, and later updated for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game has been steadily expanding for almost a decade, becoming a truly massive MMO. Now, a new generation of players will get the chance to play the game on an entirely different platform, as Daybreak Games officially DC Universe Online to the Nintendo Switch.
