Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world and is estimated to have more than 250 million players. This game has become Epic's biggest money-making tool due to the sale of season cards, skin and virtual items. The ninth season of the game came with new battle passes, more than 100 rewards, and a new range of skins and characters. The ninth season did not change significantly. It seems that Epic's main goal is to lock the current player through evolution.

In the season 9, there will be at least three new Fortnite Maps added. Neo Tilted replaced Tilted Towers, which was destroyed by volcanic eruptions. The second one is Mega Mall, which is an upgraded version of Retail Row, and a Pressure Plant, a place where volcanoes were erupted. Epic also added "Slipstreams", a turbine that can use a wind transport system to quickly pass through the map and possibly add a new combat angle.

There is also a new "Fortbytes", which is a hidden challenge project. Gamers who purchase Battle Pass can collect 100 computer chips scattered across the map, and collect these chips to unlock rewards.

There is only one new gun, and the combat shotgun does not seem to be very special, but the grenade is back. A large number of weapons have been removed, including Clingers, shotguns, poison dart traps, revolvers, suppression assault rifles, hot assault rifles and balloons.

There are also three new limited-time games: the "trios", a "solid gold" mode with legendary weapons, and a "one shot" for low-gravity sniper battles.
