ArcheAge Unchained Is Coming September 30 With Founders Packs Available Now

ArcheAge: Unchained, Gamigo's essential redo of the long maligned ArcheAge today, the rebranding of ArcheAge as a buy to play title, will launch on September 30. ArcheAge: Unchained is now available for pre-order in a number of different packages. The title offers a single purchase price with no shortcuts to power and no subscription. Each Founder Pack includes its own slate of in-game items. Prices run $25.99, $49.99, and $79.99. The in-game shop will only sell vanity items and it will not be possible to shortcut your way to power with real money. That doesn't mean there won't be microtransactions - but Gamigo says that there will be no buy-to-win mechanics, just vanity items themselves. It also evens the playing field for things like labor regen, labor caps, and housing opportunities.

Gamigo says that it will roll out a patch for both the Unchained server and the live server (including Swiftblade skillset), so it's likely to keep the content consistent throughout this process. There'll be more information in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned.
