October 2019 is the 10th anniversary of Riot Games' MOBA league of legends release. To celebrate the moment, Riot will host an anniversary event later today, including events and live broadcasts, and unveil the new LoL logo. Earlier today, esport commentator Rod Breslau revealed on twitter that the company is reportedly launching a new digital card game called "Legends of Runeterra" and an animation based on the popular MOBA for today's anniversary.

League of Legends Mobile is also rumored to be launching later today. It would make sense for Riot to announce these things during the upcoming anniversary event later today. According to Breslau, pre-registration links for China and Brazil supposedly went live for a few brief moments before Riot took it down.
