Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 as well as iOS and Android devices. At the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix announced a release date of January 23, 2020 for Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition with a plethora of new features, as well as cross-platform play between consoles.

Square Enix released a trailer showcasing the remaster, which shows the remaster in all its newfound glory. The trailer also announced a number of new features for this version, including cross-platform online multiplayer. It also teases new character voices, dungeons, character variant skins, and items.
