If you've been awaiting news on a new Diablo game, PC and console loyalists will be pleased to hear that Diablo Immortal is only one of at least two Diablo projects that Blizzard is confirmed to be working on.
Recently, on Blizzard's career website, they have postings for Lead Concept Artist and Lead Character Artist. Both listings state, "We're working on a new, unannounced Diablo project." Blizzard has been fairly open about it working on several new Diablo projects over the last year, although there was some controversy when one of these announced last year was set to be the mobile exclusive Diablo Immortal, but the company denied it held back any official announcement of a Diablo 4.

Blizzard posts new job listings for Unannounced Diablo Project

Diablo Immortal is in full swing, and the lead character artist and lead concept artist roles are ones that are necessary to fill early on in a game's development. Unless Blizzard has a third Diablo title up its sleeves, these job postings are almost surely confirmation of Diablo 4's development. Nothing really has been said much about Diablo since the mobile spin-off, Diablo Immortal, was announced. What hasn't been announced yet, but has still made the news, is Diablo 4. Reportedly, Blizzard recently canceled the development of its StarCraft FPS to focus on Diablo 4 and what many are calling "Overwatch 2", which is described as a more PvE-oriented Overwatch game.

Diablo 3 was released on PC in 2012, followed by a console version. The game and its 2014 expansion, Reaper of Souls, have sold more than 30 million copies. Support for older games has slowed, so it's time for Diablo 4. However, we don't think Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 are 12 years apart. That's because Blizzard focused on the period after World of Warcraft was released in 2004.

We also know that Blizzard is looking into more games set in their successful IPs. Only time will tell what this will end up being.
